ABC's of Salvation
"There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12
All who put their hope, trust, faith and full-confidence in Christ alone for the forgiveness of sins and a life bearing the fruits of repentance are born again and will be saved.
Acknowledge God and Admit you are a sinner in need of His forgiveness.
- Romans 3:23 – For all have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God.
- Isaiah 53:6 – All of us like sheep have gone astray, each one of us has turned to his own way, yet the Lord laid on Jesus the sins of us all.
Believe that Jesus Christ was crucified, died, was buried and rose again. His body was broken and His blood was shed that you might be whole and your sins might be forgiven.
- Romans 5:8
- But God demonstrates His love toward us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- John 3:16
- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
Confess your sins, ask God for forgiveness. Place your hope, faith, trust and full-confidence in Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness of sins and a life bearing the fruits of repentance. Submit to Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Ask Him to lead you in His will and His ways from this day forward.
- Romans 10:13
- For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
- Acts 3:19
- Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.
- Romans 10:9-10
- if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
